Meeting someone for the first time is always a moment of mixed excitement and fear. This is especially true when that person is someone you've admired. I recently completed a book based on one such special encounter.
When I first conceived this project, I had serious doubts about its feasibility. Meeting people I admire in person, sharing stories, and then compiling those stories into a book was no easy feat.
But surprisingly, many people willingly gave their time. They went beyond simply agreeing to be interviewed, and shared their life stories with us candidly. Sometimes, they generously shared never-before-seen behind-the-scenes stories, sometimes moments of failure and frustration, and how they overcame them.
Through these encounters, I came to believe that someone's faith, encouragement, and sometimes even a chance encounter can become a turning point in life, and I was able to discover the motivation to take another step toward my dream.
Ultimately, we all grow through someone else's story. And those stories are passed down through encounters. I hope this book will serve as an opportunity for readers to encounter new people, and through those encounters, to begin new stories of inspiration and growth.
